To determine the LTV, the loan amount is divided by the appraised value or purchase price(whichever is less).
The calculation is :
LTV = Loan Amount / Appraised value or purchase price
LTV-DOWN Payment Example :
5% down payment = 95% LTV
20% down payment = 80% LTV
